Growing up, I believed success meant having a respected, high-paying career. That belief led me into nursing, where I specialized in Perioperative Care and even considered pursuing a Doctorate degree.

I worked hard to build the career I thought would give me the life I wanted. I took on overtime, holidays, and extra shifts to increase my income.

But eventually, I started asking myself: How much is earning more really worth if it costs me the time I can never get back?

The more I worked, the more I realized I was trading precious moments with my husband and family for additional income. After taxes and expenses, the extra hours didn't always translate into the financial progress I expected.

That's when my definition of success began to change.

I realized I didn't want to spend the next 30 or 40 years simply trading more of my time for more income. I wanted choices. I wanted flexibility. I wanted to build a future where financial growth didn't have to come at the expense of the people I love.

In 2018, I was introduced to Greatway Financial. Following my husband's footsteps, I started part-time while continuing my career in nursing.

What began as an opportunity to create additional income became a completely new chapter for our family.

Through this journey, I was able to pay off my student loan debt, create greater financial flexibility, and enjoy meaningful experiences with my family—including traveling together.

More importantly, I discovered that financial freedom isn't simply about earning more.
